SSPX - new head of CDF would have been investigated by the Holy Office

Kirchen: Oberster Piusbruder kritisiert Erzbischof Müller - Nachrichten Newsticker - News3 (DAPD) - WELT ONLINE

The traditionalist SSPX goes on the offensive against the new supreme guardian of Catholic faith, Archbishop Gerhard Ludwig Müller. Several theological texts of the new prefect of the Congregation were "highly questionable," said the Superior General of the SSPX, Bishop Bernard Fellay, in an interview published on Monday, that the traditionalists published on the Internet. The mission of the CDF was to fight heresy. Müller's texts would previously, without a doubt, have been "the subject of an intervention by the Holy Office, from which the CDF has emerged, which he heads today."

At the same time Fellay announced that the Vatican would "in a very short" time get the position of the SSPX on a possible reconciliation which had been agreed at the General Chapter of the traditionalists in the past week. "We insist on the preservation of our identity, which is the only effective means to help the Church to renew the Christian world," explained the superior general, without giving details.
