Utter devastation

in the Diocese of Leeds. Shame on the Bishop who allows a Church to get to this state. He is just doing the work of "reformers"

Those pictures are absolutely heartbreaking :(
The Diocese sold the Church. The secular company own it now. You can read about the plans. They have more about it. Those photographs are terribly sad.

The Holy Mass offered so many times there and great grace given and so many poor Irish immigrants went there and paid for that Church. Generations of people attended Mass there.

It is an outrage.

If that Church could be retained as a Church it would be full. It is tragic 'Merry' England have so many empty Churches.

St. Walburge's, Preston, is threatened with a similar fate. The Institute of Christ the King Sovereign Priest has offered to care for it, but the Diocese of Lancaster has not accepted their offer. Pray that they will do so.
