The Bishop of Linz

Reactions
may have resigned but the liturgical abuses continue in the Diocese of Linz. The priest on the right is the Episcopal Vicar who looks on while a layman, a professor, reads the Gospel. The professor then delivered a long sermon and left. The Mass then continued.  Posted by Hello

Cardinal Egan

'Some churches have 168 parishioners. That's nothing to us.'
Cardinal Egan to Diana Williams, Closeup, WABC-TV, Sunday, March 27, 2005. And what if just one soul is lost for all eternity? Clearly not important for the Cardinal. Unbelievable that a Catholic prelate can make statements like this.

This church was desecrated even before the Communists. Built in the 14th century, it was reconstructed in the 16th century. The church was first Catholic temple, then stolen by protestants. It reverted to Catholic service only to be sold to a wealthy citizen in 1788. It has now been turned into a puppet museum.
