The Cultural Centre "Het Gasthuis", Aarschot, Belgium now welcomes you like this to a former Church and Convent of the Grey Sisters. They left in 1970 and could have little guessed what would become of the Church. There has been a Church on this site since the 12th Century. 
Inside the Church dances and other events now take place.
They even have an event called "Art Babel"! See other photos here.
While outside the Church stands an enormous obscene statue, mocking the memory of Catholicism.
Once a Church is sold nothing can protect the building.
